Dr. Larry Kimura\, Associate Professor of Hawaiian Language at Ka Haka ʻUla O Keʻelikōlani College of Hawaiian Language at the University of Hawaii Hilo. Dr Kimura will share some foundational understanding of Hawai´I in his talk Kumu Honua Hawaiʻi – The Creation of the Hawaiian Universe. \nThis event is open to the public and participants should plan to arrive early to allow time for parking and transport to the open-air pavilion where the talks will take place.
